Iceland may be a small country (40,000sq miles, with a population of just 320,000), but it is packed with magnificent landscapes. Waterfalls thunder over cliffs; glaciers cover the land in ice; lava creates endless caves and black sand beaches; volcanoes threaten to erupt; geysers shoot water into the sky and earthquakes happen every day!
It's a land full to bursting with natural beauty and stunning landscapes, which, for most people, are the main reason for visiting this extraordinary country. Iceland is warmed by the Gulf Stream and has a temperate climate despite a high latitude just outside the Arctic Circle.
Join Team YCC Iceland for the journey of a lifetime as we trek and camp out in the breath-taking wilderness. Enjoy the thrilling water crossings, visit Reykjavik and go whale-watching.
